The boys wrapped up their forth soccer season today! We have been fortunate enough to have the same wonderful + energetic coach for 3 out of 4 seasons and have had a lot of boys return to the same team. It is truly a pleasure to watch the boys have so much fun on the field. We have definitely been bitten by the soccer bug!
To celebrate the end of the season the boys and I put together little treat boxes for their teammates. We set up an assembly line last night and went to work filling the boxes. It didn't take very long since there were only 9 boxes, but we all had fun. I am glad the boys can find enjoyment in these little projects we do together. We ran out of black and white ribbon in the middle of our project, which caused a flurry of activity. The boys would run downstairs to my ribbon stash and bring me up possible replacement ribbons. After many rejects we all decided a last minute late night run to the craft store was necessary (I love my boys). Certainly this decision did not originate from the other half of their genetic make-up (mark one up for the Soccer Mom).
