The boys had their final basketball game of the season today. Of course I couldn't resist the opportunity to package up some sweets for their teammates. The boys and I hunted down 'Leprechaun Gold' (i.e. gold wrapped chocolates) to fill up treat bags. I never realized how much gold candy is out there. Twix, Reese's peanut butter cups, Rolos, Hershey's Nuggets, Willy Wonka golden eggs and gold chocolate coins were all excitedly purchased. We set up an assembly line and loaded up cello bags with our golden goodies. Finally, we added some St. Patty's confetti and then tied off the bags with ribbon and our festive tags.
