The last two weekends I've taken advantage of the wonderful weather to do some weeding and planting. When I say 'planting' I mean putting together some flower pots for the patio, which is a *Favorite Spring Activity* of mine. Historically I usually go for a light pink and while flower palette, but this year I decided to match up the purple pansies (that survived the winter) with some bright fuschia blooms. The change in color scheme was inspired by a bougainvillea topiary I spied at the nursery.one. Who knew it would be so hard to find a navy & while striped umbrella--it seems like such a classic, always in style.
The roses are in bloom! At this time of the year they are so easy to care for and so easy to reap their rewards.
