It is hard to get too much Halloween, so last Sunday when we hosted a dinner for a few of my co-workers I decided to set a *Halloween Table*. The guests are from India so I wanted them to get a flavor of the Halloween spirit, but I also couldn't resist the opportunity to bust out the spider web table cloth a little earlier than usual (which I did iron, but apparently not very well). A Halloween table wouldn't be complete without a Halloween dessert! Chocolate cupcakes topped with orange frosting are an easy way to deliver such a treat.

The tablecloth is from Williams Sonoma circa 2002-ish. I did seem some similar ones from Pottery Barn last year (2008) and I saw a table runner at Home Goods just yesterday that was similar. Good Luck with the hunt!

Thanks! It is very easy and much faster than using a spatula or a knife. I use a pastry bag with tip 2D. I hope you can try it!

How do you frost your cupcakes to get that beautiful "from the bakery" look? A pastry bag and tip? Please share your technique!
