I am in love with *Madeleines*! I completely understand why this tender cake with slightly crunchy edges inspires poetry. I am especially fond of the bite-sized Madeleines, which I made for the first time this weekend. I also tried a new recipe, which seemed a lot more authentically French than any recipe I had tried before. This recipe called for brown butter, which seemed to make all the difference because the little cakes tasted perfectly golden. Hubby and kiddies also found them drool worthy.
I also worked on some more classroom Valentine cards for this year...here is a sneak peek:

My daughter gave out your Zebra cards last year -- I loved them so much! I also love this elephant and will be checking back. Thank you so much -- belatedly but sincerely -- for last year's offerings!!!
