The boys' school had their annual *Mardi Gras Carnival* this weekend. This meant Friday night and Saturday were spent baking and packing up goodies for the Bake Sale and Cake Walk. I used the same bake sale packaging as last year (except I added a new sticker design for the bottom right corner of the treat bags). I actually felt a lot less rushed this year than in previous years. I guess I am mellowing out. I did bail on the M&M covered pretzel rods at the last minute though. The boys were disappointed, so I promised to make them again next year. Here is the cake we made for the Cake Walk...unfortunately we didn't come home with one. I guess there is always next year.
